Francisco’s FAQ’s
Why Francisco’s at the Blue House Café and not just the Blue House Café (BHC)?
Francisco’s is an entirely different entity from the BHC. It is owned, operated and licensed as a separate business.
Can I make reservations?
We are now accepting reservations for the
5:30 seating only.
Due to the size of the establishment, it is extremely difficult to honor
reservations after that time and we will be offering seating on a first come
first serve basis.
What is the “preferred guest email club”?
The email club is a reliable means of communication with the guests. It provides important updates, special offers, weekly dinner specials, etc. You can sign up by sending an email to preferredguest@franciscosportland.com
What are your hours?
Wednesday through Saturday, 5:30 pm to close. “To close” indicates a guest oriented service style. For example, if a guests walks in at 9:30 pm and the grill/oven is still hot, it is our policy to serve them. We certainly do not want to turn away a hungry guest.
What type of cuisine is served?
Francisco’s tagline is “An International, Culinary Journey.” Therefore, many different regions of the world will be represented with the intention to offer a variety of experience each time a guest visits Francisco’s.
Is alcohol served?
This is a work in progress. Until we receive our beer & wine license, we are offering a BYOB option.
What is your BYOB Policy?
1) We ask that only beer and/or wine are brought on our premises.
2) We will be charging a $3 "corkage" fee per person. I realize that this charge usually applies only to wine but this will include any alcoholic beverage consumed. The reason for this fee is that I've had to take out an extra insurance policy to be able to offer the BYOB option. The fee helps to offset the extra cost.
3) This seems obvious, but you must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcoholic beverages on our property. If we card you please take that as a compliment!
4) We reserve the right to ask you to stop consuming alcohol on our premises at any time.
5) If you appear intoxicated when you arrive we reserve the right to prohibit further alcohol consumption on our premises.
Do you accept credit cards?
Visa and Mastercard are happily accepted!
